Under Medicare, you are eligible for up to 10 sessions per calendar year, with a rebate of $85.20 per session. Please note that a GP referral is required to access this benefit. To arrange a referral, simply visit your GP or one of the local clinics near our locations. The referral is known as a Mental Health Care Plan.
Please also note that the standard rate for initial sessions is $200, while ongoing sessions are billed at our usual rate, with the Medicare rebate applied directly to your account.
Investment
We accept all major private health insurance providers in Australia. The rebate you receive will depend on your specific policy and coverage. On average, clients may receive approximately $100 per session; however, this amount varies.

Rates Before Rebates

No GP referral required
Individual and couples therapy sessions are typically 50-60 minutes long and can be conducted either in-person or online. Please note that couples sessions are not eligible for Medicare rebates.
We also offer workshops tailored to your group’s specific needs, such as mindfulness, resiliency, and more. You can request a workshop on a particular topic, and we would be happy to discuss the details.
In addition, we specialise in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and offer micro couples skills workshops to help strengthen communication and relationship dynamics. For workshop rates and availability, please feel free to enquire.
The Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) recommended fee is $240 for 50-60 minutes
Payment & Reimbursement
Payments for all sessions are due at the time of your appointment. We accept payment via EFTPOS or Credit/Debit Card. If you wish to pay by cash, please note that we do not have facilities to provide change. Payments can be made directly at the end of your session, through our booking system, or we can send you an invoice with all the necessary details.
If you are eligible for a rebate, the full session amount will be invoiced after your appointment. We will process your rebate electronically at the same time, and it will typically be deposited into your bank account within 24 hours.
Changes & Cancellations
You can easily cancel or reschedule your appointment without incurring a fee as long as we receive notice at least 48 hours before your scheduled session. Our 48-hour cancellation policy allows us to offer any newly available appointment slots to clients in need of immediate support.
If you need to cancel or change your appointment, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance. If notice is provided after this time, the full session fee will be charged.
