Clinical Consultation (Supervision)

For Social Workers, Students & Early-Career Therapists
A space to think, reflect, and feel supported; without pressure or pretence.

At Althea Collective, supervision isn’t just a task to tick off. It’s a safe, compassionate space to land. A place to explore your work, your questions, your growth and the parts of you that show up with it all.

Whether you’re on placement, starting out in private practice, or finding your feet with complex clients, supervision with Bethanie is about being met where you are, without judgement or overwhelm.

This is clinical consultation that holds your thinking and your feelings — because good therapy work comes from both.

What You Can Expect

Supervision with me is spacious, curious, and never performative. You don’t need to show up with polished formulations or the “right” answers — just bring your work, your thoughts, and your honest reflections. I’ll meet you there.

Sessions are flexible, collaborative, and gently structured to support your growth and confidence, no matter where you’re starting from.

Together, we’ll explore:

Making sense of complex or emotionally layered presentations
Bridging theory to practice in a way that feels clear and real
Navigating countertransference, values, and the parts of you that show up in the room
Clinical decision-making, risk, and boundary questions without shame
Support with note writing, processes, and documentation, especially if you’re new to private practice
Feeling seen and held as a human practitioner

I offer a space where your thoughts, questions, and uncertainties are welcomed — not judged.
Together, we’ll unpack what’s coming up in your work and explore new ways of understanding and responding, at a pace that feels safe and steady.

My role is to support your clinical development while honouring your values, instincts, and unique way of working. You don’t need to be anyone other than who you are: supervision is a space to bring your full self, authentically and honestly.

Fees & Booking

Support that’s structured, safe, and genuinely holding.

In my very first student placement, I had a supervisor who truly saw me, who offered clinical insight, emotional validation, and explored best ways to improve my practice.

It was the kind of supervision that felt really reassuring and transformative.

Then… I never had that again.
For the next few years, supervision often felt performative, unsafe, or like a tick-a-box; especially when it came from people in management roles. I know what it’s like to feel unsupported in the work, to carry complexity without a place to put it, and to question how you work and whether you did the right thing.

That’s why I’m passionate about offering supervision that feels real, kind, and clinically thoughtful; especially for students, early-career social workers, and new private practitioners doing emotionally demanding work.

Supervision should never feel like a performance review.
It should feel like a place to land.
